Christianity has had a positive effect on humanity. That's just a fact. From the enlightenment, to hospitals, to colleges, to disaster relief, to feeding the poor, to abolishing slavery, to, in large part, even influencing democracy, which tends to work very well wherever it is tried, Christianity seems to be on the stronger end of altruism, which 100% has a positive impact on the world.
I am not really trying to change the world, personally. I am trying to help the people in my life. This includes sharing my faith, but it also includes things like giving my neighbors rides if they don't drive and not charging them for me to drive them. It includes my Bible study, which has 100% made a positive change in people's lives by attending it. I don't take credit for these things. I give all the glory to God. Yes, there are a LOT of hypocrites in the Christian faith. But there are also a lot of really really good people who give to help other people, volunteer efforts etc.
And when you compare Christianity to atheism, it could not be clearer that one of them has made a substantial contribution to humanity, and one that has killed millions of people (like Lenin's Communism, for example, which explicitly made it their value to take God out of everything, and you ended up with hell on earth).
Now, not every other worldview besides Christianity doesn't try to help people. There are other worldviews that DO try to help people. But it would be difficult to argue that any other worldview has had a more positive impact on the world than Christianity.
