    Accounting Degree

I talked about it a little in my previous post, but as far as 'stereotypical accounting' like task-based or clerical work I think it is too S. I think INFJ's really have to find their niche in accounting, I think the higher up on the totem pole the better. I've always read that INFJ's are more...

    Accounting Degree

I've got a Master's in accounting and am halfway through the CPA exams. I've had two accounting jobs so far, the first I got through a mutual friend (only worked there a few months), and the second I got through my school's internship program. Another resource that may help you is joining your...

    negative aspects of the INFJ

I have that exact same issue, especially at work. My field is saturated with sensors and it is incredibly difficult to explain anything to them, especially if they are too stubborn to intuit at all.

Are INFJ Males really that rare?

I'm a straight INFJ male (was often accused of being gay as well), and I foresee this happening to me as well. My teens and twenties so far have not been too pleasant relationship-wise. I feel like something is missing, don't know what, but it isn't quite there yet. Girls my age seem to show...

which function bothers you the most?

I don't know if 'bothers' is the right word, but I feel the biggest bridge to gap is over N/S. Everybody at my work is a sensor of varying degrees, and it is a welcome relief to spend time with my N family or friends and being able to intuit with them. The bad thing at work is no one can see my...

    The FREEZEout

I do this too, but it is for the good of everybody. I'm kind of like a nuclear reactor, most of the time nothing exciting is going on, but if things start going downhill it can get real ugly real quick. With the freeze out I'm basically giving my emotions a choke-hold so they don't get out of hand.

    Personality Defect Test

Robot You are 100% Rational, 0% Extroverted, 29% Brutal, and 29% Arrogant. -------------------------------- I answered based on how I act most of the time. I do have some feelings down there, but they are covered by a six foot wall of crap and only come out when I don't want them to.

I'm curious, do you have the same twisted senses of humor as INTJs?

I have a morbid, dry, sardonic sense of humor. People either find my humor mortifying or hilarious. I get equal joy out of causing either laughter or dead silence.

Long periods without talking to anyone

I go most weekends without talking to anybody. I'm in my own head enough that as long as I have books and the internet I'm good to go for quite a while. I'm planning on going on a vacation next year for two weeks and people are shocked when I tell them I'm probably going alone. Some people just...

    The Introvert and Living Alone

I've been living alone for the past 3 years and I love it. Every time I visit my parents I'm reminded just how nice solitude can be (nothing against my parents, I just need tons of space). I'm detached enough from society that I'm not lonely 98% of the time (though that 2% can sting pretty badly...

    Working with an ESFJ

My immediate boss is an ESFJ. Here are some of my observations: -She is very kind and has never treated me badly. -She works relatively efficiently. -She can get way too revved up by her emotions at times. -She puts more emphasis in her status in the company, rather than her accomplishments...

    Blind Dates

I've been on one blind date before and it turned out horribly. It takes me way to long to get comfortable with someone for blind dates to work. For that same reason one night stands are out of the question, too.

    INFJ Interests

My interests (and skill sets) are all over the place as well. In the past three jobs I've had I've been an accountant, web designer, and marine diesel mechanic. Every where I work I turn in the jack-of-all-trades. Even at my current job I am the newest and most inexperienced, but have the...
