What sections do you go to in a bookstore?

What is this "bookstore" of which you speak? =P Kidding, but I have been doing a lot less poking around real physical books since I got a Kindle last summer. Either way, my usual genre targets are: Fantasy, New Age/Spirituality, Art, and Children's Books (or other beautifully illustrated books).

    The role of touch

On a social level I hug where appropriate and don't have a problem with it. Though I kind of see this as hugging with all/most of my defenses intact, depending on how close I am to the person. On a relationship level I do thrive on touching/cuddling from my husband. I have noticed that I don't...

Music that speak directly to your heart

I've practically had this on repeat all week... http://youtu.be/Ir5nxUTEZQs

    INTJ's and INFJ's - Partners in crime.

I had to laugh at the 'partners in crime' bit, as I'm an INFJ happily married to an INTJ. There really seems to be a tremendous amount that we just "get" about each other... that zen-ish state and our ways of handling stress among this.

    Nice guy vs Bad Boy

My husband and I are currently re-reading a book called The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida (amazon link). One of the first few reviewers states: "The book helps men to find and reclaim their power in relationships in a compassionate and honoring way." Which puts the gist and purpose of...

Small talk and not knowing what to say

I would say it comes down to showing interest in the other person and training yourself to find those little bits that you can ask questions about or compliment. Later, if you hang out with them more, you will find you start to have a nice base for conversation in various subjects. I like @Kgal...

    INTJ+INFJ: help appreciated

I'm an INFJ who is (newly) married to my INTJ soulmate (though we've lived together 4 years now). I do want to disclaimer that I've only had experience with my partner, I'd never dated another INTJ before him. I also want to say that he came to me as a very socially mature individual, one...

    Living together before marriage

Maybe it is just the type of friends I have... but I can think of at least half a dozen couples whom I know personally (besides us!) that were committed pairs before they moved in together and are now happily married.

    Living together before marriage

Bird: I think there is knowing from an intuition vs. knowing from experience. I felt that we knew before we moved in, but that we KNEW in a deeper sense after. If that makes any sense? =P

    Your Gift Giving Philosophy?

So the holidays are here, by whatever name you might celebrate them (for the sake of these questions, we will assume you do in some way). For many of us, no matter what our personal faith or inclination, it is a time when we are expected to exchange gifts with those close to us. It's certainly...

    Living together before marriage

I've been watching this topic for a while and wanted to chime in: my INTJ boyfriend (now husband) and I lived together for 2 years, before getting married last March. We made the decision because, after 6 months of dating -practically living at the other's house every weekend, we felt it was...

    Skyrim!

I think my favorite part thus-far is the way one can just go off in any direction, wandering and exploring. Inevitably I will stumble on a hidden cave, or fort, or dungeon which starts a nicely crafted event for me to play through. But even roaming the world at large, I could swear I was...

    Skyrim!

I am currently having a blast exploring this highly detailed world on Xbox (my husband is playing it on PC). Anyone else playing this beautiful beast of a game? =) http://www.elderscrolls.com/skyrim Currently running at 96% and 95% on metacritic for the 360 and PC versions respectively, not...

    Talking/mocking behind others' backs

I don't slander or spread rumors or anything of that sort...it feels wrong, but I do like to analyze common acquaintances with my husband (in private). =P
