Ms. Understood

I am a female. I am much more forthcoming about myself in an online environment rather than in person. I find it very difficult to interact with others face-to-face at times.

I do not like crowds, especially when shopping. I am more apt to wait to shop until late at night or early in the morning to avoid large crowds.

I am very strong-headed.

I have extremely high expectations of my children and husband. Some are very unfair and I have to pry myself out of this mode of thinking to see things from a distance and to be more realistic in my expectations.

I am very hard on myself. I expect to excel at anything I attempt and do not respond well to any type of perceived failure.

The way my world should be is organized and planned in my thoughts and that is the way it is supposed to be. Any deviation from this perceived world, is unthinkable; thus the high expectations of my family. This absolutely does not make me right and I have to constantly tell myself that it is not the end of the world, if things don't turn out exactly as I thought.

I do not like a barrage of attention and notability. Most of the things I aspire to do, I do because they interest me or challenge me. I enjoy some recognition at times, but for the most part, I enjoy the self-gratification which comes out of these instances.

Over-achiever!!!

Anxious!!

I thoroughly enjoy the academic environment.....If it was left up to me, being a student would be my lifetime career. I am very thorough with my courses and would have a difficult time getting a "B" because it was just not good enough.

Since I was little, I dreamed of being an Archaeologist and still do. Things did not exactly turn out as I had planned and I have never forgotten this aspiration. Instead I enjoy reading of explorations and watching various documentaries.

I have very, very few close friends. Even those that I consider close, I keep at a distance at times.

I am an Accountant and more recently a Controller.

I enjoy learning different cultures.

I love logic problems and sudoku is my next favorite. I enjoy playing Risk

Biography
I have my MBA with a concentration in accounting. I have worked in public accounting for approximately eight years. I have enjoyed certain aspects of my job. I most enjoy investigative accounting. I have discovered embezzlement on numerous occasions and actually enjoy this; rather than find it a painstaking process like some of my coworkers.

I have accepted a Corporate Controller position a couple of weeks ago and will begin this next phase of my career next Monday.
