Mercurial Spectre

I'm a newcomer to the college environment; My previous experiences have been within a well established and tightly knit community, and I find the freedom of this new atmosphere to be a challenging adventure.

Recently, for one of my introductory courses, I was required to take the MBTI. Never had I taken any personality test before, but I considered each question carefully and answered as true to myself as I could deduce from my inner workings. When I explored and found descriptions of my type, something just clicked within me... it was like finding parts of my true name Eragon-style. Never before had I seen such an accurate depiction of my personality in words!

Over the past few days I have spent the majority of my free time gaining marvelous insights into myself from different perspectives, and although I am well aware of my traits, having them expressed in such great detail is certainly enlightening.

Many things are coming into realization- one of the most important is that I have not been completely true to myself over the past few years. I have suppressed certain areas that are some of my greatest strengths in order to follow perceptions, other's and my own, of what I should be instead of what I am. Now, I feel an elation and confidence in myself of unbridled magnitude, the likes of which only self-dishonesty can diminish.

With conviction, with pride, and with the veracious throb of my heart I can say that I am the one and the only- ME!

Running, reading, unicycling, creative writing, airsoft, gumdrop wars, Star Wars, Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda (I play the ocarina), Dungeons and Dragons (esp. Forgotten Realms), Exalted, nature, animals, philosophy, humor, Sci-fi, Fantasy, Mandalorians, my ancestry (Scottish), weapons (lots of them), active games involving zombies, science
