I am standing in front of a building that is over a thousand years old, in the middle of a what was once a ghetto in Budapest. Grime, and filth covers everything and the heavy weight of depression suffocates me. The wail of a violin swirls amidst the imposing stone, it's vibrations stroking the building's hard edges. I think to myself, "music can survive anywhere".
