I retired in 2023 from a 30-year career in software development. Most of the time, I prefer being home alone reading, writing, and listening to music.
I do get out and socialize on occasion. Monday evenings I teach writing classes for an adult community education program at a local high school. Tuesday evenings I teach beginner ballroom classes for an adult community education program at another local high school. I also DJ the occasional ballroom dance.
I am also volunteering as a bookkeeper at the local Unity Church, assisting them with a web-based bookkeeping app that I wrote for them.
