Try different lotions. Try light ones recommended for sensitive skin, for example the Cetaphil brand here in the U.S. Re: the aloe vera juice, I once dated a guy who drank tons of it, and he had very nice, soft skin. He swore it was the aloe vera juice. It's also good for acid reflux.

If you are really against using lotion then get a moisturizing body wash and drink more water. You could also try drinking aloe vera juice (available at health food stores).
