Hmmm, I'm an artist, a writer, a wife and a mother. I clerk at a little shop and I love it. I like exploring new places and I want to see everything, go everywhere and meet the trees and the animals and some of the people. I'm a dreamer and I like to escape into books or into one of my RPG characters for a while or into Skyrim or Fable or Dragon Age or, lately, Dragon's Dogma. That's how I recharge, by escaping into those relatively private realms where I can explore being someone else.
Many and varied. I am a reader of books both fiction and nonfiction, I write, paint, draw, garden, bake and enjoy playing games of all sorts; boardgames, card games, RPGs, video games and some outdoor games. I study poverty, homelessness and food security mainly, though I also study anything that grabs my fancy as I go along.

- Biography
- Not much to say, really. I was born into a middle class family, raised by conservative parents who didn't believe in talking about politics, other people did believe in talking about them though, and so my parents were shocked when I and my youngest sister turned out to be very liberal as we care deeply about other people and fairness and such. I got through the usual schooling but sort of blew it in college because I just couldn't settle in and figure out what the heck to DO or focus on. So, I basically have no college credits at all and cannot see bothering to get a degree at this point. I got married, had a couple of kids, realized I couldn't bear to be married to a man who was not my intellectual equal, especially one who tried to control me, so I left and found the man of my dreams. Now I am married again and have a third child. All my kids are with us now and we are relatively well and very happy. We're working on college degrees for my husband and eldest child now. ^_^
