Yep, he was (as best I know of him)--both in mind and in body. That integration of ideal from different planes is a large part of why I admire him. Thanks...
I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not... hmmm..it's almost like echoes is somehow...more open and has layers that overlap with epiphanies like ripples in a pond or when mountainous echoes tumble over one another...dreams is one where I have a difficult time entering...not like a dream at all...sorry if I'm not making sense to you....maybe it's just me.
I like the ephemeral nature of these...I think I generally prefer poems that evoke strong feelings, even if they aren't necessarily ones the poet intended. Of course sometimes I'll simply fixate on words or phrases I like the sound or meaning of. These poems give me the feeling of faith surviving despite doom. Of the two I prefer echoes, not sure why...perhaps the imagery...? Not that I'm any great critic, lol. I have no formal education when it comes to writing or studying the work of others.
Thank you for sharing these. I enjoy reading your work very much.
Really - was that so? You are such a sweetie to inform me about that! *hugs!!* Yes, I'm not quite sure about how many people are having bad days around here!
