Good evening m'dear! Yeah I find the same a lot of the time. I'll go to bed and wake up with a bunch of notifications. All time favourite band....no, I don't think I have one anymore. I haven't been listenin to much music these days cause my toddler has decided she doesn't like it. I tend to have a band of the moment...where I'll listen to one particular band more than others. At the moment I'm shifting. I'm listening to a lot of Alter Bridge (kinda cheesy, but good cheese! I like the dude voice) and I'm also going off on another Deftones buzz. ahaha yeah I just played along with everyone else. One time, we were in a place called Oldenberg and myself and my friend went to J-walk. In Ireland everyone does it, but I know in Germany it's a strict no no. There was a bus coming towards us, but we had plenty of time to dash across the road first. The bus driver saw what we were going to do, so he spend up really fast and swerved towards us! Miracle he didn't hit us....scared the shit out of me and my friend. That's when we fully realised the deep love and seriousness the Germans had for their rules and laws
Yep! I thnk the Germans are quite misunderstood. I went to a lot of camps in Germany with my youth group when I was younger. The irish have a tendency to be disorganised and late to everything and the Germans had a schedule like Main Meeting starts at 7.09 lights out are at 11.03 and everything had to be done to the minute or there were consequences. The irish hated this and the Germans hated our lax attitude...as a strong J I was secretly in heaven!
Mhm I got that same impression off of Germans. My very generalised impression is that they seem like a very happy and accepting people once you follow the rules.
