Forgot to mention, the book was The Ocean at the End of the Lane. Not sure if you've read it, but I recommend it. There's almost something magical in the way he writes, and I'm not purely speaking in the metaphorical sense.
Glad you feel a bit better today. Yeah, the gum worked until the dentist could glue it back down, lol. He said that and toothpaste are the best way to deal with temporarily sticking a crown down. Continuing to send healing thoughts your way.
My mom said that feeling goes away soon. She said visualizing integrating the screws as part of her body helped. Coincidentally I was a the dentist today too. A crown fell off. I had stuck it back on with sugar free gum the past week.
Oh, s--t!!! I never replied to your messages. You wrote these messages during a period when I was not OK but improving slowly - one step at a time. I feel that I am finally OK now. My melancholy is going. I am brimming with joy. Watch out!!! :m146:
I hope that your surgery will make it work for you.
Sounds like it's been really good for you. Yeah, how we approach reality is such a huge factor in and I can see how helpful it could be when an experience offers you a new way of looking at things.
Well I could use someone to reassure me this is reality on a normal day, so I'll be sure to take it slow at first. Thanks for the advice.
Glad to hear things are going well for you. So does this mean your alternative approach to medication has been successful thus far? Has the depression and anxiety gotten a bit better?
I'm not too bad. Having some problems with work and feeling a bit frustrated, but otherwise ok.
I've found one or two places that might offer the very legal and above board substance you suggested(I think Free might be a fed so I'm trying to be subtle here). Now I just need to work up the nerve to ask.
