  • So I thought I'd leave you a message here because it's quicker than sending a message via inbox/outbox. I wanted to ask you... (if this is too personal, you can private message me) if you drink or smoke? I will explain why later :) I am asking all of my friends. It has to do with standards I am developing.

Please send me a message back either via my visitor page or inbox. Thanks!
Ooh, awesome! :D What's more awesome is that you're proud of your heritage. A lot of folks might not realize just how much slavery has affected the family. Many, many times slaveowners would take slaves and...well, it wasn't positive, but you know what I'm saying. If those slaves had opportunities, they very well might have married White families and had children.
So far so good. 6 of 7 were all accounted for. I believe one of them is buried and shedding it's exoskeleton, so I won't see him for at least another 2-3 weeks.
If this weren't a rental I'd have all this shit carpet pulled up and hard floors put in within a month of being here.

Curiously, it stayed coolish in the house up until like 330 or so. It was odd cause although the windows were all open, it was still cooler inside than outside. I feel very bad bout the crabs tho. I wasn't thinking and their tank got up to 90 on the inside before I noticed. *oops* I made a quickie A/C for them and have just been filling it with ice cubes since.
Things are okay. I've been steam cleaning the carpets yesterday night and today. So I've kept the A/C off....Hot sweaty work. And the kiddos aren't being helpful and keeping their dirty feet off the wet spots.... grrrrrr.....
The first book I read of her's was Parable of the Sower. A friend of mine was taking a Women's Studies course and it was part of the material. It's based in the future where all of our current social and environmental issues have run amock. Highly recommend it.
I've recently gotten into reading some sci-fi stuff. I'll look into Warehouse 13. I've actually only begun reading Octavia Butler stuff.
Hehe! Thanks! Things are going good here. Interesting. Feel on the brink of a transformation. How're you? Haven't chatted in a while!
No speakers?? I need to listen to music everyday, I don't know what I'd do if mine weren't working! What a nice son you have to offer to come fix it for you! I wish you luck tomorrow. Let me know how it goes!
Congrats on your new computer!! :D It takes me forever to set up computers when I first get them. I have now resorted to bribing my friends with homemade cookies to get them to do it for me. :D

Things are going very well for me thank you. There was an earthquake over the weekend, but other than that it was pretty calm.
Not an unfair question at all :). I was just trying to evaluate any possible route but unfortunately I don't know the place too well. I was just thinking it would be rough to miss out on such an experience just because you're in a wheelchair but unfortunately I guess some experiences are like that, hey? But if you did decide to go I'd love you to be able to see things like that. :)

Yeah I wouldn't swap my mum for anyone else. She's always putting others before herself.
I'm not sure. I'd say they would have access for wheelchairs but the way I got in wasn't to accessible, no. It was a little confusing to be honest but it's worth your while if you can find a way.

:) People always say I seem so much older and mature for my age. I tend to get along better with people who are older than me as well. But I'd say alot of my maturity is thanks to my mum. She was always ready to give me responsible independance, guide me through my choices while letting me contribute my own insight into the situation. In fact she's been given a bit of a hard time for letting me take on too many "adult" responsibilities and letting me have too much feedom with my choices. But all I can say to that is that she's given me the confidence to look after myself and make my own decisions in the adult world.
At least she didn't feed me the media crap that most of my generation has grown up with. I have never once owned a gossip magazine in my life.
I turned 16 on the 23rd. It's funny because I rarely get tricked and they barley got me this time. But it's sort of nice to just sit back and let yourself be surprised :)
The restaurant revolves too so you get the full view of sydney which is very pretty at night :)
Aww, it's nice to have someone around who's so spontaneously kind :)
Well I just got tricked to go out on my birthday for 2 days. I woke up to get ready for a day trip and thought it was strange that some of my clothes had gone missing and things, like my brush and toothbrush, were disappearing right after I put them down. But being morning I was too lazy to piece the info together so I just went with it.
My family ended up taking me out to dinner at the centre point tower in sydney. :D
