Which one is your favorite? You can list more than one because I know it's very hard to choose only one since there's so much great actors and characters in the show.
My favorites change each season, in Season 3 my favorite characters are Jaime, Cersei and Brienne.

That guy!

Ever since Storm of Swords, Jaime Lannister has become my unexpected favourite. He bumped Tyrion to second place. I think the actors are doing a fine job with both of them.

I also have a soft spot for Davos thanks to the series.

Tyrion.
I think he is the most well developed character in the whole series.

Jimmy Whisper.

you're disgusting

Lol why? I love Jaime because he's so complex and emotional (I didn't particularly like him in the first two seasons but he surprised me in the third), I love Cersei because she seems tough but she's actually very frustrated and vulnerable on the inside (I hated her in the beginning but in later seasons I found her very complex and interesting), and I think Brienne is amazing because she's brave and one of a kind.
The thing with Jaime and Cersei having sex together I do find weird, but that doesn't stop me from liking them for other reasons.

I haven't seen a single episode, but I have been wanting to read the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

I'm thinking either Bloodraven, The Knight of the Laughing Tree, The Kindly Man, The High Sparrow, Jon Connington, Doran Martell, Wyman Manderly, or Penny.

None of these have appeared on the show, yet.

If limited to those who have appeared in the show, then it would either be Varys or Davos.

I'm only halfway through the 3rd season, but so far Arya is my favourite character. Other favourites are Tywin and Tyrion Lannister, Robb Stark, and Margaery Tyrell.

Syrio Forel

He is a free agent. He's not bound to anyone, but he defends Arya because it is the right thing to do

In that sense he is bound to his own inner code of honour

He chooses not to kill the lannister men who attack him even though they are trying to kill him, seeing no point in spilling blood needlessly

He is a fully realised human being. He is strong, but merciful. He is a master of his craft of swordplay (the water dance style) but also of the art of teaching as he knows how to get the best from his student. He knows when to challenge her and when to support her as both are needed to prepare her for the real world

As well as being a master craftsman he also has a mastery of himself as proven not in practicising with fake weapons in the classroom but when reality bursts into the classroom in the shape of hostile soldiers. It is at that point we find that Forel is the real deal.

Although heavily outnumbered he faces down the soldiers. It would be the easiest thing in the world for him to hand over Arya and go on his way; he owes her nothing, but he owes himself everything. His courage holds out and he lives by his code...a true master of the temple

Yoren also defends Arya against what are clearly impossible odds, which shows great courage. But he is plagued by the demons of his past which he has never mastered. As a result he relies on alcohol as a crutch. He also perhaps does not feel good about how he makes a living which is to recruit people for the nights watch which has over time become a corrupted siberian style gulag for exiles and criminals

Despite his problems he is a person who can be depended on to behave fairly and clearly shows courage, but because the way he is living his life is not in alignment with his heart and his head he is unbalanced and not a master of the temple and as a result despite his often outwardly jovial nature, when socialising, he is not in a happy place as a person

Robb Stark is so hot, I'd do him. Hell, I'd do Tyrion too. Even Jon Snow is sexy...... ugh.... I want a Robb, Ty, and Jon sandwich. Kthx.

But.... Are they generally your favorite characters or just the ones you find the most attractive? Or both? Cause I have the general favorite characters list and the hottest characters list and those two lists are completely different. So I'm just wondering. Cause I was asking about general favorites, like the ones you find most interesting/intriguing/cool.

There should be a separate thread about hottest GoT characters I guess.

Both tbh. Although I find Robb to be very whiny.
