It seems that the GOP is going to move the vote tabulation to an 'undisclosed location' claiming that OWS is going to disrupt the count.

Many Ron Paul supporters are claiming that the GOP are doing this because they are afraid that Ron Paul will win so they want to rig the vote and are using claims of OWS disruption as a false flag to justify them hiding the voting process

Seeing as many OWS followers support Ron Paul it seems hard to believe that they would want to disrupt the process when polls have indicated that Ron Paul is in the lead

I am waiting for the opportunity to open a thread titled 'muir doesn't post an anti-isreali/capitalist pro-socialist/lefty crack-pot conspiracy rant for a whole week'.

This will be exciting news for everyone on the forum.

I very rarely open a new thread

I post in a very narrow range of the forum sections. Its rare that you will find me post outside of the 'news & politics', philosophy & religion' or 'psychology' sections of the forum. That's because i like discussing what i see as the big issues in life.

I have some strong opinions but because i post narrowly it is very easy for people who don't share those opinions to avoid my posts.

I'm not anti-israel i'm just anti the current approach to foreign policy being adopted by a US/Israel alliance. I have no more against Israel as an entity than i do against any other state as an entity. What i have a problem with is the actions of the military industrial complex and the banking cabal that works hand in hand with it (i recommend the documentary 'Confessions of an economic hitman' which explains how they operate or John pilgers 'War by other means'). Below is a list of conflicts the US/Israel alliance have been involved in in recent decades (a state of perpetual war)

There are momumetal events occuring around the world at the moment....things that are going to affect us for the rest of our lives and our childrens lives. So yeah i'm quite keen to discuss these matters in the appropriate sections of the forum.

If you want light relief then go to one of the less weighty sections of the forum......or here's another idea.....how about not going onto a website set up for INFJ's and telling an INFJ to not talk about the big issues happening in a particularly eventful time in human history?

I've posted a thread which is possibly pointing to a total breakdown in the democratic process in the worlds most powerful country. i happen to think that's a pretty important event and one that's worth discussing in the news & politics section of an internet forum

You constantly try to shut down discussion; you use ridcule and insult and seem to find it grossly offensive that someone might want to question authority, the direction our leaders are taking us in and what is happening in the world. Why is questioning so threatening to you? This is a vast forum space with many topics up for discussion. if you do not want to discuss certain things then avoid them.

What i have posted below is particularly important at the moment as it seems the US/Israel alliance is gearing up for a war against Iran

WHO IS THE THREAT TO WORLD PEACE? CHRISTIANS, JEWS, OR MUSLIMS!

Since the 1979 Iranian revolution and the downfall of the US Puppet Ruler the Shah, Iran has been an Islamic state. In that interval of time, 1979 to the present, Iran has not invaded anyone. Not once. People of all religions live in peace in Iran, even Jews, who find life so comfortable in Iran they refused an offer by the government of Israel to emigrate!

In the same period of time, Israel, a self-declared Jewish state, attacked Iraq in 1981, bombing the power station at Osirik, claiming it was a clandestine weapons factory. Subsequent examination of the ruins following the 2003 invasion proved Israel had lied. In 1982, Israel invaded Lebanon. This led to the Massacres at Sabra and Shatilla. In February 2003 Israel staged incursions into Gaza and Nablus. In September 2007 Israel bombed Syria, again insisting they were destroying a clandestine weapons laboratory. Again there was no evidence to support Israel's claims. In 2006, Israel attacked Lebanon, killing 1200, mostly civilians, several UN observers, and littering the landscape with land mines on their way out. In February 2008 Israel again raided Gaza, killing over 100. HAMAS agreed to a cease fire and kept it for 6 months until November 4, when Israel again attacked without warning, killing 6 HAMAS members, and launching operation CAST LEAD. 1300 Gazans, mostly civilians, were killed. Israel lost 13 soldiers. Violations of international law included the use of White Phosphorus incendiary bombs against civilians and non-military targets. The United Nations investigated, but Israel refused to cooperate. In May 2010, Israel attacked an international aid flotilla bringing food and medical supplies to Gaza in international waters. 9 people were murdered including an American from New York.

In the same period of time, the United States, officially a secular nation but predominantly Christian, attacked El Salvador (1980), Libya (1981), Sinai (1982), Lebanon (1982 1983), Egypt (1983), Grenada (1983), Honduras (1983), Chad (1983), Persian Gulf (1984), Libya (1986) , Bolivia (1986), Iran (1987), Persian Gulf (1987), Kuwait (1987), Iran (1988), Honduras (1988), Panama (1988), Libya (1989), Panama (1989), Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru (1989), Philippines (1989), Panama (1989-1990), Liberia (1990), Saudi Arabia (1990), Iraq (1991), Zaire (1991), Sierra Leone (1992), Somalia (1992), Bosnia-Herzegovina (1993 to present), Macedonia (1993), Haiti (1994), Macedonia (1994), Bosnia (1995), Liberia (1996), Central African Republic (1996), Albania (1997), Congo/Gabon (1997), Sierra Leon (1997), Cambodia (1997), Iraq (1998), Guinea/Bissau (1998), Kenya/Tanzania (1998 to 1999), Afghanistan/Sudan (1998), Liberia (1998), East Timor (1999), Serbia (1999), Sierra Leon (2000), Yemen (2000), East Timor (2000), Afghanistan (2001 to present), Yemen (2002), Philippines (2002) , Cote d'Ivoire (2002), Iraq (2003 to present), Liberia (2003), Georgia/Djibouti (2003), Haiti (2004), Georgia/Djibouti/Kenya/Ethiopia/Yemen/Eritrea War on Terror (2004), Pakistan drone attacks (2004 to present), Somalia (2007), South Ossetia/Georgia (2008), Syria (2008), Yemen (2009), Haiti (2010), etc. etc. etc. etc.

So, who is the danger to world peace?

Iran vs Israel: What The Media Wants You To Forget

The corporate media have been given their orders to throw the focus back on to Iran.
Here is a recap of what they are trying to make you forget.
1. Last Spring,
Rose Gottemoeller, an assistant secretary of state and Washington's chief nuclear arms negotiator, asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel refused.
2.
The United Nations passed a resolution calling on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.
3.
The IAEA asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.
4.
Iran's formal notification to the IAEA of the planned construction of the backup fuel-rod facility underscores that Iran is playing by the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which Iran has signed.
5.
Iran allows IAEA inspections of all its facilities.
6. Contrary to face-saving claims, it appears that the US and Israel were both caught off guard by Iran's announcement of a planned underground (to avoid being bombed) enrichment facility. The reasoning is simple. Had the US or Israel announced the existence of he new facility before Iran's notified the IAEA, it would have put Iran on the defensive. As it is now, the US and Israel seem to be playing catch up, casting doubt on the veracity of Israel's claims to "know" that Iran is a nuclear threat.
7. The
IAEA and all 16 United States Intelligence Agencies are unanimous in agreement that Iran is not building and does not possess nuclear weapons.
8. In 1986, Mordachai Vanunu blew the whistle and
provided photographs showing Israel's clandestine nuclear weapons factory underneath the reactor at Dimona.
9. Israel made the same accusations against Iraq that it is making against Iran, leading up to Israel's bombing of the power station at Osirik. Following the invasion of 2003,
international experts examined the ruins of the power station at Osirik and found no evidence of a clandestine weapons factory in the rubble.
10. The United Nations has just released the Goldstone Report, a scathing report which accuses Israel of 37 specific war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza earlier this year. Israel has denounced the report as "Anti-Semitic (even though Judge Goldstone is himself Jewish), and the United States will block the report from being referred to the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague, thereby making the US Government an accessory after-the-fact.
11.
Recently revealed documents prove not only that Israel has nuclear weapos, but actually tried to sell some to Apartheid South Africa. Who else Israel approached to sell nuclear weapons remains an unasked question.
12. In 1965,
Israel stole over 200-600 pounds of weapons-grade uranium from the United States.
13. Declassified documents from the former South African regime prove not only that
Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades, but has tried to sell them to other countries!
We all need to be Joe Wilson right now. We need to stand up and scream, "LIAR!" at every politician and every talking media moron that is pushing this war in Iran. And we need to keep dong it until they get the message that we will not be deceived any more.
Israel wants to send your kids off to die in Iran, and YOU are the only one that can stop them.

I think OWS should disrupt the vote because there are no good candidates in the GOP and Obama is just more of the same b.s.

How would disrupting the activities of a legitimate political party further the OWS's aims?

Unless you just like seeing folks getting all bent out of shape.

The real danger here is that the voting is going to be rigged; as Stalin said 'it doesn't matter who does the voting, it only matters who does the counting'

Ron Paul is a capitalist so i disagree with him fundamentally, but he still says a lot of stuff that does make sense to me; for example he seems focussed on pulling the US military back from various war zones

The US might find its image abroad improves a huge amount when it stops shooting people in their own countries

To do that the US public need to challenge the power of the military industrial complex and the bankers that feed it

As the documentary 'Confessions (apology) of an economic hitman' shows, the method of the US is to first try and apply financial pressure to a country and failing that the CIA try to either bring about a coup or assassinate the leader so that they can instal a puppet and failing that approach they send in the military.

If Ron Paul is wanting to challenge the central banking system and the private banking families behind them then good luck to him.....if they don't cheat him of his votes or shoot him first

Because lets face it since the fed came into existence the US has seen 2 world wars, 2 global depressions, nuclear proliferation, massive wealth disparity, many economic crises, perpetual war and a world in which no one feels safe anymore

At what point do people just say 'enough'?

We're the "slow boiled frog" making no attempt to escape/change when things in our own country get out of control.

Oh ye of little faith.

I have faith in people to be able to run their own affairs and those of their communities if given the chance

The game's rigged!

I think it's time for some new rules! Ones where the people have some actual say over the running of their lives, communities and country

It was a big scandal when Bush stole the election from Al Gore....these guys just do whatever the hell they want...they're organised criminals
