I don't use the song ringtones, but I have a funny story about one. My husband had just purchased a new phone and gave his mother his old. She was standing in a busy line at the grocery when she received her first call ... of course she neglected to change the ringtone .... (first maybe 8 or 10 seconds of this song.) She was a bit embarassed as it was LOUD and everyone was looking at her.

I work at a University. A department chair in the faculty of business had this as his ringtone. He also had the volume turned ALL the way UP! It was funny when his phone went off in the middle of a group of people.

My text message beep is the Power Rangers wristwatch communicator chime. It's subtle and unassuming enough that I can use it at work with no shame, but anyone who is even half as geeky as I am or grew up in the 90's, gets a kick out of it.

I got drunk and thought it was hilarious to make In The Summertime by Mungo Jerry my ring tone.. Nobody else thought it was funny. And then I just kept it like that for the longest time no matter how embarrassing it was when it rang at work or in public.

Then I changed it to Tamacun by Rodrigo Y Gabriella.. Which is so awesome you won't want to ever answer your phone again!
