I feel like they don't want to be full friends with me in the first place; like they don't want to do anything with me (which isn't to say that it isn't my fault to some extent).

I flow in and out of certain relationships depending on where I am in life. Many of my female friends either currently have crushes on me or have at some point in the past, so, for example, right now, when I'm actively going after a girl, I let our friendship drift a bit since our friendship's history would overwhelm the fragile new relationship I'm forming with said girl.
Not really. I agree with [MENTION=2096]DevilDoll[/MENTION] though, people do tend to drift apart over time, whether physically or emotionally or otherwise, even those with whom you share a significant attachment.
