Me: So yesterday I had to go to the dentist. Big deal event for me because I was all freaked out given that last year it was hugely expensive and he made veiled threats about root canals, then sold me a water pick (which to his credit is a whole new world as far as dental hygiene goes). But glory be, this time around it was just a cleaning and talk about how awesome my teeth were. But seriously, I was picturing the worst!
