Thoughts?

I for one am very excited to see a viable space program.

It looks exactly like a rocket I made in Kerbal Space Program before.

It looks like a larger more modern version of the original moon capsule. I cant help but lament the idea that after all these years we couldnt design something with a little more "spaceship" appeal. I dont care that wings are useless in space. It has to land sometime right?

Would be nice. Do you think well actually get one in the next 50 years? This isnt political but we are 18 trillion in debt. The space program generally takes huge hits when the economy stalls.

There is a shit load of precious metals out there in the asteroid belt

Stu I like the way you think.

"NASA’s Orion spacecraft is built to take humans farther than they’ve ever gone before."

Hopefully it will work how it is supposed to. It's a lot of money they put into it...

Thank you America for using some of your money to advance science and space exploration. I'm completely in favor of that. Who knows what new technologies might spring from the Orion spacecraft and it's team of scientists over the next couple of years.
