Militia group arrested

Interesting article in the New York Times today about a militia group that was recently infiltrated, and then arrested. Yesterday's arrests happened in Michigan, and it's rather interesting to read about this right-wing military group. Their plan was to kill a police officer, and then use roadside bombs to ambush hundreds more at a would-be funeral procession. They figured that it would start a civilian uprising, and that the people of America would be able to overthrow the "world-government" that is currently under the control of the anti-christ.

This is like...weird. I don't understand the violence surrounding the presidency. People didn't up and bomb Bush because they didn't like his politics, while we were turning into a police state.

i would say thats quite a smart tactic to take down a cop so they can take down many at the funeral procession but i think it's actually a very common sniper tactic so think that waters down the credit somewhat.

as for the goals....think it was a little out of reach with just that op.

Considering they were plotting to kill police officers and then bomb/attack the funerals, they're going to have a fun time in jail!
