Do you feel that you are not as empathetic as your average INFJ? I am still very much an INFJ but feel like I can be a ruthless pragmatist these days. Are we more about asserting power and promoting ourselves? Also, do people think that you are an extrovert until they get to know you?

The overall empathetic INFJ can come off as more of a con artist as Fe can trick people into thinking that everything we feel is purely selfless. Honestly sometimes we trick ourselves into believing this as Fi is not in our cognitive stack. We may end up helping someone or caring out of an innate habitual Drive.

Pragmatism is a quality that many INFJs will have underneath it all has not to let the masses into the true intention of our Ni Ti loop. This is not a negative personality state. Only if an individual is psychology or emotionally unhealthy will it be unhealthy for them to live in a different emotional cognitive world than the super social and lovingly extroverted world of Fe. This is why the Special Snowflake gets mistyped as an extrovert (ESFJ.)
