There are several variables that effect how I sleep.
Sometimes my partner insists I rest with my head on
his chest, when I fall asleep in that position it is almost
always on my left side. Other times he'll wrap his arms
around me and I will be concentrating so hard on not
moving my legs and waking him I will eventually fall asleep
in a very uncomfortable position with my legs all fucked
up and some arm in my ribs and on my right side.
I prefer to sleep on my stomach with one of my legs at a
ninety degree angle to my straight leg. My hands resting
beneath my thighs and my pillow covering the back of my
head.
Sometimes if my back hurts, because I'm getting old, I will
try to sleep on my back because I am convinced it stretches
out when I lay on my back. It just takes awhile. Every once
in awhile I will fall asleep naturally on my back while reading.
My legs will be all weird and so will my arms. I only wake up
when I drop my book on my face or chest.
The real reason I prefer soft cover books.
