Would HR management be a good fit for a infj or is it something to stay the hell away from!

HR seems to be more about protecting the company interests rather than employee interests. I don't get the sense that it is actually people oriented, despite the name. But I am not an HR person.

[MENTION=564]acd[/MENTION] is right. Generally it is about company needs not employee needs. It can work if the company's values align with your own, but don't expect to be "fighting for the little guy" unless you want to be fired yourself lol
It really depends on the company and the amount of freedom you are given with the specific position. I spent a bit of time with HR stuff and it was ok, tolerable but not a dream job. It's a lot of busy work when it comes down to it and it requires more legal knowledge than most HR people are capable of fully grasping
