Original Pilipino Music (OPM)

Mitsa (Salamat)
Candlewick (Thank you)
Live by Ben&Ben

Adding the Translated Lyrics

It's a pleasure to return to happy memories
Our glowing love, or so I thought
blessed
No longer is
Gone too soon
It has become a fault finding cycle
When there's nothing left for us to feel
It's better to end all pretensions
When all of this is going nowhere
It's better to say thank you
Thank you
When the candlewick is burnt
All the flickers die
The anger has passed
Washed away by tears
Hearts have been freed

When there's nothing left for us to feel
It's better to end all pretensions
When all of this is going nowhere
It's better to say thank you
Thank you

As the night falls on what we've shared
I teach my heart to quiet down

When there's nothing left for us to feel
It's better to end all pretensions
When all of this is going nowhere
It's better to say thank you
Thank you

Thank you

Where are you from in the Philippines?

My former neighbours were from around Davao. We got on extremely well, they'd bring me back little packs of dried mangos after coming back from the summer holidays :yum:

Hahahahahhahah i lived in Davao for a while. 13 years to be exact. I'm still on the same island but on a different city :) those dried mangoes are yum! I assume you've tried mango float?

They certainly are!

I'm not sure I have, what is it?
It's a mango graham cream and milk dessert. I believe no Filipino can go on a life without having ever tried it or without sharing it with neighbors. Hehehe.

Serge forever

More of these please! (Edit: oops the sobs made me feel uncomfortable :()

And here's my response to that:

We have all kind of influences (resulting in a lot of really bad music nowadays)...
Here is some from the pop genre; the others are a more typical, Balkan ethno-sound
