They were legendarily philanthropic and had a huge impact in even a non governmental sense. They both had real positive impact on many people's lives which is a big loss to the communities they impacted. Great admirable role models in that way, regardless of anything political.

My heart just grew three sizes.

It is a very difficult thing losing a child to miscarriage. My aunt experienced this; when I was a child I had a difficult time understanding the weight of the situation but I've learned since then to appreciate the strength of mothers who overcame the loss of a child.
