Feminism / Girl on girl hate

During one movie night I was talking to a friend of mine, she said she thinks "girl on girl hate" gets normalised politically in certain aspects of popular culture. She referenced the long time popularity of the movie, Mean Girls, as an example. She was talking about female competition and rivalry, women tearing each other down etc etc.

She also said she thinks this is one of the reasons why feminism is relevant.

What are your perspectives on feminism? Do you think it is relevant - yes / no?

What are your perspectives on feminism?

It's a hard market to corner. Aside from that I know some big names: Susan B. Anthony, Simone De Beauvoir, etc.

Do you think it is relevant - yes / no?

No. I am uncertain of how feminism advantages me, a man. At that, an ambitious man.
