Wasn't she absolutely stunning?!

Wow...I remember seeing her in so many shows when I was growing up.
National Velvet
Cleopatra
and the huge movie about west texas - "Giant" - with Rock Hudson and James Dean.

This is exactly what went through my head when I saw the news.

Rest in peace Elizabeth.

i was just saying literally just last week that i thought it would be a very sad day when elizabeth taylor dies. i said "but she's kicking on, isn't she?" i didn't realise she was in hospital. and two nights ago i was watching her on tv in an adaptation of alcott's little women, as amy. i loved her in giant and even her cameo appearance in j g ballard's very crappy novel crash. i thought she was a cool person, with a very huge and charismatic voracious personality, who also managed to care about others. just paying respects.

I lol'd.

Am I the only one who doesn't know who Elizabeth Taylor is? :(

I heard the name and sort of gathered that she was an old film star, but I can't say I've seen anything with her in.

i always thought elizabeth taylor was a clothing designer... right? Is that the same person? Different? Is there no such thing as an elizabeth taylor clothing designer?

the real world is so confusing

i feel like i've stumbled into an alternate reality, in which scarlett johansson could be an actual genuine star, and crazy shit like that.

o fuck hudson, it's always been Taylor/Burton

You're probably thinking of Liz Claiborne.

Yep. Her perfumes didn't smell half bad but they were a favorite of blue hairs so I never touched the stuff.

Rest in Peace, even though I didn't know her much. :|
