Does any one agree? . I did not think he was “Just a Strange Tough Guy” like my friends think, I felt he was more layered than that. I think he fit’s the description of an INFJ. Tell me your thoughts.

I have. Let's see the "INFJ traits" you think he displayed.

He's clearly ISTP (which might actually explain why you've mistyped him as INFJ). I even have a brilliant idea for a meme based on him.

Seriously, this. He's a stoic adrenaline junkie with a deeply buried emotional side, he's fluid in his interactions with people without really becoming involved in them, and he solves all his problems by either going fast or killing people.

Well, now you're just making him sound like you ;)

I see what your saying, I still think he's an INFJ though, the movie is up for anyone's interpretation. Can you show me the meme? sounds cool

By the way that first post was rude. Other Characters I think are INFJ's are Haley Joel Osment from A.I., Gregory Peck from To Kill A Mocking Bird, Kevin Costner in Dances With Wolves and Field Of Dreams, Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine, Clive Owen In Children Of Men, and James McAvory In X-Men First Class. Its all about how you interpreted the characters in the movies, and I think Ryan Gosling in Drive is a INFJ, thanks for telling me what your interpretation is.

Is this assumption based on horoscope-like description of INFJ's, or serious analysis on the character's jungian cognitive functions?

I have looked up many, many descriptions of INFJ's, to many to count.

These are what I call horoscope-like descriptions. MBTI in my opinion works on a completely different basis.

well, these were long, detailed explanations, and sometimes I look up real INFJs talking about their personality's and problems. what do you think is an long accurate description? Could you give me the link?

Dominant Introvert Intuition
Auxiliary Extrovert Feeling
Tertiary Introvert Thinking
Inferior Extrovert Sensing

Best possible description of an INFJ. And I believe all of these is ... genetical.
