Describe a time when you got what you prayed for.
Did you get it the way you prayed for it?

When I had my last job I was praying for me to not have to deal with the person creating the stressful environment. I was hoping for her to be fired or one of us be transferred to a different department. Instead I was fired. It still relieved most of the stress, which is what I really needed.

I think I described this a bit in the thread on INFJ-INFX romances, but in February 2011, I asked God for the balls to ask out a platonic friend whom I was in love with. Eight months later, we were alone together for what seemed like the first time in quite a while, and I asked her out. It was the best relationship of my life.

Why not give it a try? I pray for enough rains to keep the ponds from drying up and the fish from dying. Haven't prayed for myself a lot lately, so I really can't place my finger on something I received from my own prayers. I have watched things get better for individuals I have prayed for, though not everyone.
