Yesterday CNN ran a response on their page to Trump asking him to specifically state what aspect of their report concerning the release of information related to Russia targeting him he did not agree with. Going on to say that all of their reporting is researched to the highest standard and carefully cultivated. Today the Intelligence Committee made it clear to Trump they were not responsible for releasing this information and that they do not know where it came from.
CNN has since removed their response to Trump with no explanation.
Further down is another article entitled "Trump doesn't get it." No CNN you don't get it. Trump is not here to do what you say or even here to listen to you. Today you have been proven to be exactly what he calls you, fake news.
No thinking person takes you any more seriously than a tabloid.

The former British spy who allegedly created an incriminating but now-discredited dossier on President-elect Donald Trump has gone into hiding.

Christopher David Steele, 52, was seen hurriedly leaving his home southwest of London on Wednesday, apparently to avoid detection and escape possible retribution once his identity as the source of the salacious document became known, theNew York Times reported.

I mean, if you object to certain things in the report, that's one thing, but thinking that Russia will manipulate Trump with this...I don't think makes sense. Especially now that the information is out already. You bring up the allegations again, no one will care anymore. Unless you have more evidence, perhaps, but it's not a move I've seen.

I'm divided on what to think about Buzzfeed and CNN as organizations, and this is partially because I haven't researched the matter fully. I think CNN should have an opportunity to defend itself, though whether it has to be at Trump's conference I don't know.

CNN did not disclose the contents of the alleged opposition research, Buzzfeed did. CNN reported that the Pres, VP and the Pres elect had been briefed by US Intelligence of the contents of the alleged opposition research and the people who had written it. Those events did take place (the briefings) and it is news.

The contents of the alleged opposition research had been available to most reporters in DC for months.

The only intent was to further an unsubstantiated story that would potentially damage Trump. I'm fine with people not liking Trump...just let's call an apple an Apple.
 
I just hope some other dip shit celeb decides to rise up and proceed to harass Trump about all of this for the next 4 years the way Trump did with his Obama birther nonsense.

Seems like the whole of the socialist party intends to do this right now. Not sure how one more person will make a difference.
