It seems a fair number of us enjoy a good book, so I think this might be fun. Recommend a book, or two, or three, ... :)

Include as much or as little about the book(s) as you wish to. It may be helpful to include a genre and/or a brief description (or a link to one).

I'm not sure if we already have a thread like this?

Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Housseini (sp?).

It's about the parallel lives of two young Afghan women about 1/2 a generation apart, and how they eventually interweave.

warning: It's an amazing novel, but it can be a rather heavy read at times.

The New Dress for Success. By Robert Malloy.

It's really popular, so many of you may have heard of the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins by now. I absolutely love them, and definitely recommend them to anyone who likes adventure/dystopian novels. Best I've read in a long time.

"The Wind-up Bird Chronicles" by Haruki Murakami. ;)
