I used to be until I found out my stuff is trash. I used to have only cheap headphones and was worried that I wasn't hearing things properly, and people told me that headphones don't matter if you standardize your EQ.
Now that I actually have good headphones I can tell you that was the biggest fucking lie. I can hear things now that weren't even audible before. Most of my old stuff sounds disgusting.
These are the only things I did which remotely sound like I intended them to, just basically out of sheer luck.

I might have to reduce the sub and make some cuts on the overall mix due to some clashes, but so far so good. There is a bit of mastering on the track and at the end of the chain my mixing instructor added a digital EQ that that simulates an old mixtape, with noise included.
As for the track itself. Most of what you hear is personally sound-designed.
