What Musical Styles/Eras are You Not too Keen About?

I like most music depending on my mood I will change what I am listening to in accordance. With exception of Rap and Hip hop. I take the attitude of "Nuke it from space." And before anyone starts making stupid comments on this, I listen to a lot of Blues though admittedly not as much as a used to when I was younger. The Blues is art whereas Rap is a scourge on this earth.

Not mad about Heavy metal, Jazz, or Rap. but i think good music in any format can be good. I don't think theres any period of music that I disliked but I think since the sort of late 80's? there's been a lot of over produced garbage, where we were subjected to 'artists' who were just puppets of the record labels and tv stations. Good music is still out there thriving.
What does the blues have to do with this? Is this analogous to saying that you aren't racist because you have black friends?

@the I think EH can say he likes the blues and dislikes Rap and not be a racist. I feel the same musically. I haven't got any black friends, and I'm not racist. I have asian friends, muslim friends, even conservative friends (very few they think I'm a commie). I don't have any jewish friends, but I'm not an anti semite. I sometimes listen to disco and Abba as well, but I'm old.
I hope we're good. Otherwise I guess you are gonna pull my hair and kick me in the goonies. like all those kids at school used to... (sobs into handkerchief).
I suppose I like pretty much all music as long as it is well written and performed, although I listen mostly to metal / hard rock.

I dont even know how to respond to that. Let's say though it's been implied the only reason people don't like Rap when they like most other music is because they are racist on more than one occasion. Or so I have found anyway.
Rap sucks and it sucks bad. I've been sitting back hoping it's going to die off like glam rock but it hasn't yet.

I can't stand Rap. My son loves it. he was always playing me some rap song or other "dad, you gotta like this.." no, I don't gotta like it. I just dont. It's got zero to do with race. People like different things. I get Rap has poetry and taken aside from (to my ears) the awful musak, i guess it can be ok. If we were going to be all politically correct, 'some' rap music has contained controversial homophobic stuff and 'mixed' messages on women. but I don't blame that on 'rap' it's just how some people are, and how they create a drama to get more sales. Like boxers 'hating' each other before the fight.
For the record, I don't like mustard, but I do like ketchup. it's a cray cray world.
I love listening to all types of music as long as it sounds good. But I definitely have zero interest in death metal. I find it disturbing. I do not like country music but there are a couple of songs that are okay. Rap is not my thing but there are definitely a few songs that are decent. Same with 60's and 70's music; a handful of good ones but I usually like the remade versions of those songs sung by someone else with a twist to them. For instance, The Beatles. I like three of their songs but only when they are sung by other people in "Across the Universe". I love older music, like the kind played in "Back to the Future". 
One of my favorites is "Earth Angel". Still love that song. I also love Frank Sinatra.
I don't like music in parades. But that might be because I do not like parades. I love the music that was sung in Phantom of the Opera. So beautiful.
