I thought it might be interesting to have a place for people to discuss their journey and beliefs about intuition - natural, physic, metaphysical, etc.

I am interested in fostering some of these skills in myself, and would love to exchange ideas/experiences/knowledge on the process :)

I don't do it often enough, and for some reason I feel the need to stop myself before I go "too far", but meditation always leaves me with fresh "knowledge". It seems to clear the cobwebs of stale thoughts and emotions leaving me with this miraculous emptiness for awhile. Afterwards, the insights are just there.

I was thinking about this earlier.

I think more about metaphysical intuition as essentially a communication with a higher part of ourselves, outside of linear time and a blinkered sensory perspective.

Intuition guides you to what you need and this may not always be what you want or expect. It is very difficult sometimes to differentiate this from ego (especially a conscientious ego) but I find it works closely with synchronicity or 'meaningful coincidences'.

Personally I give mine challenges so that it can improve and get stronger. It so happens this often takes the form of difficult to solve puzzles.

When I first was solving the BiCube for example I just kept messing with it and wouldn't give up no matter how hard it is. I kept saying to myself "I should be able to solve this. What am I missing?" and then when I went to sleep after trying to solve it I had a dream of the cube with a move sequence which kept repeating - R U2 L' U R' U2 L U' - which turned out to be a edge pair swapping commutator which allowed me to invent my own method for solving the BiCube.

I think stuff like that happens because I focus and ask the intuition to speak to me so it eventually does.
