Imagine waking up to find you are not an infj anymore ?

I noticed when I was in college that If I drank late at night, after the initial effects would start to wear off, my mental clarity and focus would improve for programming. Drinking rarely made me more extroverted.

I coded some incredible stuff between 10pm and 2am. What that tells me is I hold myself back far too much because I wasn't smarter, just less intimidated by committing to a new method.

This is fascinating. I hope you learned to trust yourself from those experiences.

On the rare occasion that I'm drunk I'm not more extroverted, either. I fall back a bit.
If I drink enough coffee or too much sugar on an empty stomach I can get hyper and seem more extroverted.

I was hoping for a discussion on actually waking up as a different type; having a different personality for one day and experiencing what that's like.

Incidentally, this is one of the philosophical arguments for the existence of genuine mental states in opposition to the physicalist view that consciousness is ultimately nothing else than neurons firing.

If there is a "what it's like-ness" to a particular personality which is not found in another, then there is a qualitative dimension to consciousness, and therefore the mental is a thing.

Imagine wakijg up to fibd out you are not an infj and you made a mistake in the MBTI test ??

I've woken up numerous times thinking I was an INFP. Still alive so far :D

I wouldnt care. I didnt even know MBTI before, I do live and survive by my standards, not from the test that tells me what personality type I am.

Toss an INFJ in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable spot and you'll get all the MBTI scores.

Oh right, I have a few left to catch :kissingsmiling:

Do I lose all my INFJ associated hang ups as well?

That could be useful. Might actually be able to get on with life instead of stress out about everything.
