Thom Yorke

The theoretical overindulgent musical concepts on Kid A just screams INTP to me.

Implying other types can't have overindulgent musical concepts, which is just silly. All introverts are prone to this sort of thing.

In fact, what he did with OK Computer -- syncing the songs with In Rainbows that came out ten years later -- was pretty insanely Ni.

Hmmm... I don't think I'm using my Ni to it's full effect AT ALL!!!

INFP or ISFP

Thom Yorke seems very Fi-dom. (Also Radiohead is the best band ever.)

INFP or ISFP

Interesting perspective. I have always assumed INFP. What makes you think he could be ISFP?

His lyrics strike me as those of an Intuitive - quite abstract and conceptual. I don't know if that's enough to rule out ISFP, though, given that the latter has Ni-tertiary.

My main thought, even though I am fairly certain INFP is a good bet, is that he has very strong Se and it is difficult to see if what he produces comes from a place of true Ne or true Fi.
Either one of those is capable of producing an imaginative world. I think his Ne and Fi are insanely high, but he must have high Se as well. It's just a lot harder to really differentiate between which of the three is dominant because he blends all three. I think the deciding factor is Ne/Ni and Ni is so hard to see but it's obvious he has a lot of Ne. So INFP is most likely. I was being a bit contrarian in my post to ferret out some thoughts on this, as I've never really thought about it extensively.

I actually see him as almost a poster boy for INFP, although his lyrics can resonate with INFJs too.

Any fans of Radiohead out there?

Interview on 'The Eraser'

I think my boy is INFJ (contrary to some who say INFP). Thoughts?

My favorite man alive dear melatonin.
got all their LPs in vinyl.

The Eraser solo work is one of my favorite albums of all time!

If Linkin Park didn't intervene, radiohead would still be my No1
That doesn't mean they are No2
it's just a big tie between these two bands!
for those not aware..

I don't know Thoms type, but I see no reason to insist on immediately stamping 'INFP' on every single person who is in any way introverted, sensitive, quirky or creative.

'He haz the eMOtiOns! An Fi-dom he must be!"

Stop this fucking cringeness. Sometimes interesting artists are other types. I'm sure in time you will all overcome this trauma.

This thread is 10 years old so I am sure they've recovered by now.
