Yeah, it's weird. People tend to find them too weird, too dissonant, or not enough of either. Well, people are wrong. Xiu Xiu are great!

I came upon on him accidentally in high school because he opened for a band I was seeing.. I immediately felt at home with the weirdness, ahaha.

Sorry Hos, I missed that at the time. I'm listening to Julia's new album today. It's very dense but gorgeous and exhilarating. I think the following song (which I've linked before on this forum) is my highlight of the year.
