What current series do you watch?

the crown
godless (must see)
the punisher (better then i thought but kinda bloody at the end)
agents of shield (real comic book!)
the amazing mrs markel (really really good)
and rewatching GOT from season three with my daughter as guide (very helpful)

Godless - Just finished, and I agree with @Stu . It was a good western (like a really long movie - the entire story is 1 season) with compelling characters. Breaks some stereotypes while still satisfying conventional elements that make westerns exciting.

Ash vs Evil Dead - Stumbled on this on Netflix. If you liked the Evil Dead series, the creators managed to successfully recreate all the zany B-movie gore that made the originals famous, yet condensed it into a short episodic format. Somehow they managed to avoid the facepalm factor that is frequently encountered when people try to revive dusty cult classics.

Black Mirror - Really happy a new season was just released. It's like a high-tech Twilight Zone that features a lot of eerie "technology run amok" scenarios in the not-too-distant future.

The Black Mirror episode "San Junipero" was beautiful and very touching. Black Mirror is interesting I like most of the episodes. The acting of Mackenzie Davis and Gugu Mbatha-Raw was extermely good. Belinda Carlisle was always under rated as a solo act in my opinion.

The OA was extremely well done. Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij are awesome! Much of the supporting cast like Scott Wilson are also very very good.

Has anyone seen The East? I have never even heard of Freeganism until I looked it up.

Why exactly? Should I ask or am I setting myself up again?

Because the Doctor is a very liberal kind of character. Hes not very conscientious, he likes being spontaneous, hes comfortable with diversity, hes very open to new experience (I mean the Big Five here). I mean im not saying you are not all of these things, but according to Jordan Peterson, conservatives tend to be the exact opposite.

Hmmm.... well I don't consider myself conservative. And I don't have an issue with liberals so long as they put forth thought out plans that can actually work which as it turns out, rarely ever happens.
I had asked because I've been told by others I remind them of a real life doctor who on more than one occasion. I always thought that odd myself. I like the show because I relate to the doctor but its difficult to see myself in the same light.

I don't think he should of died the way he did, but oh well. And lol no worries, I've seen all the seasons except for the 2018 one that is to come.

And Murphy definitely had some character development. But still managed to be cold in the end.

Any other series you've seen that are great?

Oh ok. :p

I've really been liking ''Travelers (2016-)'' Netflix series: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5651844/

What about you?

Hmm... I used to watch the Blacklist and The 100. Those were some pretty good shows, however I don't watch TV much these days. I'm getting more and more into Japanese Anime. I like the stories, and they have some unique characters!

Oh, I guess I like a lot of food competition shows like Masterchef and other ones on Food Network: Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, Guy's Grocery Games, etc.

Just gotta shout out to Rick and Morty....

Hey people,

I was wondering, which current TV series do you follow?

Post down below ;p

There is this new show on Netflix called Dark. Its really good. Takes place in Germany and its about a wormhole that moves time 33 years to the future and to the past. In the end it just shows that the world is in a time loop.

Not all of these series are really current. So, here's mine:

The Grand Tour
Elementary
Dragons
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (just started)
Ash vs. Evil Dead (new season this month)
iZombie
The Magicians
Doctor Who (Dr. Who is an acceptable abbreviation for the old series, but I agree the new one must be written in full)
New Girl (watched it 4 times in less than a year since S6)
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (haven't seen the latest season yet, so no spoilers please)

I know there is more that I have and watch, but it must wait until later.

I'm pretty selective in my TV watching, typically only keep up with 3 or 4 series at any given time. @Happy Phantom has gotten me into a few more things.

Right now I'm regularly watching / have watched / intend to catch up on:

Game of Thrones
Westworld
Star Wars: Rebels
The Good Doctor
Black Mirror
Ash vs. Evil Dead
The Walking Dead (although my interest in this show is hanging by a thread)
Star Trek: Discovery
The Crown
Mindhunter
The Handmaid's Tale
Supernatural
House of Cards (very excited for the Claire-centric final season)
The Expanse

A few others here and there, but those are the only current ones I'll go out of my way to watch.

I had this one on my list too but I guess there's no point in watching it now. Thanks! :unamused:

Dragon Ball Z.

Favorite show, ever, of all time. Because I grew up with it. I just bought all 9 seasons and now I binge watch it after work. Justified, because I haven't seen it in like 15 years.
