I feel like a broken record, going around the forum and telling tired and stressed people to supplement with magnesium, but honestly... try it. Make sure its magnesium-glycinate, though, as that's the only one that crosses the blood-brain barrier properly. It will help with your sleep, stress and clarity of thought and focus. Good luck!

I must confess, I'm not well versed in the Android OS ins-and-outs. But that's the potential I saw in this little piece of shit. At first it seemed slow, unresponsive, and useless running various common apps well.

I tested the OTG cable, works very fine, connected full-size keyboard and mouse, and started to dig into the root system to see what I can do.

To my happiness, these little $10-"paper-weights", can be easily rooted, you can install a linux shell in them, run shell commands, install emacs, connect an Ethernet port via OTG, and set up apache server. I wonder whatelse these can do?

As much of a tech geek as I seem to be - I'm not interested in tech revolution. I am interested in tech education, and customized, personalized, private computing. I want to be free from internet spying from mobile communications and free-range unsecure networks. I want to set up my own private network system, a private "intranet" parallel in spirit to the "Tor" network.

I want to be free of the over reliance of corporate owned, controlled, and monitored technology, which restricts access and ownership to users. It just makes you buy more and more "versions", and piling up the obsolescence. I like a private system based on long-term "stable" tech (like useful hardware and software that lasts over 30 years as the basis for your designs).

I like a system that also uses old technology that is still useful. It's good for backups, emergencies, and is just plain reliable - like those hand-pump water pumps made of iron, water filtering systems made of only 3 parts, and pure steel. Having convenient space in the designs for secure candle holding, oil lamps, and adobe ovens/fireplace that can burn almost any fuel.

My interest in 3D modeling was and has always been in designing virtual models of the home and building structures I am currently developing in Southern Arizona.

Blender's great because it supports CAD, but it can also render a photoreal and to scale model of whatever you want to build.

It also supports 3D printing.

You have a bunch of processor nodes with multiple cores that either work together to execute 1 large task, spanning the job into multiple nodes - or it divides the jobs up into "parallel" processes, increasing job efficiency.

I think it's cool how in the Rasp. Pi's tutorial - you can see that much of these clusters are controlled by NTP(network time protocol) - which also is responsible for "syncing" remote network interfaces together on an agreeable time clock for packet updates to properly be implemented.

I don't feel like sharing all of it - but lets just say much of it was a wave of recognition that in order to "find" truth - you must be silent to cut through the mess of language.

Lojban takes care of this in one word - and has another word for all the other chemical elements (helium-based, potassium-derived, or thorium-containing "thing") . English would make this confusing, and only something folks would realistically only use "for reference" if ur an expert.

In a language like Lojban, you don't need a special context to use a "sophisticated" word to describe something made up of "hassium", you just say " .i zo'e xu Jinmrxasi" or just "jinmrxasi!" and you've said specifically "this thing is made of hassium" or this is a "hassium-thing". Without have to go too specific with a name, nor being to vague with just a "thing".

This is one of the reasons I like Lojban and I think either a version of it or something like it, should be the future of "common tongue" or just the language of the future.
