Our little male is ruler of the house. If we correct another pet, he corrects with us. I call him the Lt. Col. of the house the way he shows his authority over all that walk taller and carry more weight. He was attacked by a German Shepherd many years ago and he bit that big dog in the face five times in two seconds, then chased him away. Thought we might lose him that day. His love and the ability to show it never waivers, and he acts as if I have been gone weeks when it is but a few hours. They have very big hearts.
It appears you like Styx. Well, I like Styx also. What is there not to like? I also love my little JRTerrier. See you have a friend, too. Had a thread about big guys with little dogs and how funny they look together on here awhile back. The JRT should be exempt, as they think they weigh in at 150 pounds and will take on a German Shepherd, which keeps the owner on his/her toes. Glad to see another dog lover.
