This is a part of an astrological research I have been doing and thought it might be of interest to INFJS who also study astrology. The research is on the placement and aspect of Pluto in a natal chart of a person. When Pluto is very dominant in a person's chart; that parson is seen as a Plutonion and holds a lot of it's energy within their psyche and development as an individual. I myself is a Plutonion and i can relate to much of it's observation and dynamics within my own self development. I tried to sum up my observations in practical language and to not infuse any astrological jargon that can throw people off.

Currently: I am experiencing a Mercury square my natal Pluto ; hence maybe that's why i chose today to post what i researched and share it. Any insights, questions and thoughts will be helpful :m023:

What it’s like being a Plutonian-

Plutonian people are created from a deep wounding. The deep, soul shattering wounding happens when we are still an infant, maybe even before we are born. Plutonian people are born into plutonian environment. Most of the time, the Plutonian child was not wanted or planned. There is usually a deep sense of resentment, negligence or family secret tied to Plutonian children. The Plutonion child usually stands for something which the family refuses to face. The energy of it all is felt when we are still in the womb.

The wounding is usually in the nature of very early emotional, physical abandonment, power struggles, sexual and physical abuse. The most painful part of it all is the perpetrator of these energies is done by the same people who were to look after and nurture us. This makes the wounding cut that much deeper and felt that much sharper.

Ironically; Plutonian are born hardwired with a built in defense system. The system detects bullshit, lying and can cut through the deep motivations and intentions of people’s hearts. Most of the time this defense system does not sit well with the Plutonian environment of the broken and the neglected child; so in order to survive the child learns to hide their true feelings and senses and learns to either suppress them or use them to create a whole inner realm which they can only escape to.

The energy is contained within the child’s inner realm can become too intense. The intensity can be best explained by understanding what Pluto stands for. Pluto in Greek Mythology is ruled by Hades- god of the underworld. It rules, intense power struggles in all areas of life, either sexual domination or suppression — sex is seen as a tool for Plutonians; not to mention plays into much of power struggles in relationships. Death in the literal, emotional, psychological and spiritual levels as well as the much needed energy of transformation and healing. With all the darkness of the energy also comes with the redemption of healing and transforming and using the power granted by Pluto for positive means.

A child that is not allowed to own and express their Plutonian power has a higher risk of being taken over by these intense energies with a deep sense of pain, isolation and depression because as they grow up these energies that are still not understood and accepted by society and families.

Most Plutonions are deep thinkers and can sense and detect what really lies under anything. Because of the laserlike intensity to be able to see things what it is and accept it without any hindrances; Plutonions have very few friends. But the friends they do have matters.

Plutonions exude intensity, unspoken allure and sexuality. In relationships; they will always play with power struggles in all areas; however if the intentions of the partner is seen by the Plutonion as caring and honest Plutonions can learn to share their power and even learn to accept their partners power.

Intuition and even psychic ability can run deep within a Plutonion and they are always confronted with the need for intimacy yet afraid of losing their autonomy.
Plutonions need for intimacy and autonomy creates inner conflict. From a young age; there will always be the lure of belonging to a group; to be understood and accepted but almost always the environment is unwilling to accept the intense probing and truth revealing behaviors of Plutonions. As the famous Swiss psychologist Carl Jung stated that one can really never be part of a group and be an individual. One must choose. Carl must have been a Plutonion.

Betrayal and trust are the same sides of a coin for Plutonians. Not disclosing information is seen as betrayal. Trust is always earned; yet Plutonions are the most loyal once they deem you trustworthy.

The most interesting challenge for Plutonions is whether or not they can heal their past and inner wounding to ultimately learn to use the Plutionion energy to help others. Plutonions if they can heal themselves can also help other heal if they are experiencing a Pluto transit in certain areas of their lives. Because if this ability; power is usually given to a developed Plutonion. This can be a life calling if one is able to break free from their inner demons. Many Plutonions are healers, doctors and shamans and psychoanalytical psychologists.

This post reminded me that I had my chart done over 13 years ago...so I went and found it. I don't think I really read it then, and reading it now I still have no clue what it's supposed to mean. I also don't know how it applies to this. A friend who is very into these things did it for me as a favor. 2 types of charts and a horoscope.

I have my moon conjuct pluto in the tenth house at the apex of a kite formation and as a part of a mystic rectangle on the fixed star Spica. I think that's why I creatively touch on slightly taboo subjects and have always been comfortable with delving into the darker side of existence.
I relate to the plutonian description very well, though I'm also strongly neptunian (It's the most aspected planet in my chart).

I have a scorpio ascendant and scorpio in the 12 house. The ascendant is in conjunct with Pluto, is what astro.com tells. I can only fay a fragment of that description applies to me.

I have no idea! I am a Scorpio sun, Virgo rising, Taurus moon. According to my chart, my Pluto is in Scorpio. I know nothing else of how Pluto is supposed to influence me though. How does one find such things out?

I have Sun/Pluto/Lilith conjuction in 1.H. square to Moon in 4. H. and sextile to Neptune in 3. H.
In my childhood I was physically abused by my stepfather and had no support from my mother. More violating than that was the candid resentment I received from her. This kind of psychic violation against me, she took vengeance on my father who hurt her so much and I was the deputy for that. I felt so misplaced, unloved and unwanted. All my childhood was so stressfull, I was often thinking of breaking away or even of suicide. All that taught me to mistrust people and only to rely on myself to keep control in my life and my decisions how to act. Pluto added much of strain and pain in my life.

solongotgon what in the chart indicates dominant pluto energy?

@solongotgon what in the chart indicates dominant pluto energy?

The above descriptions in the o.p. would be indicative of a Strong Pluto in one's chart, as well as a Dominant Pluto. A strong or dominant Pluto would depend on several factors, which can be seen in the chart (my natal chart) below:
View attachment 16666

1 - the number of planets/points (Asc, M.C., etc.) aspecting Pluto - especially if Pluto conjuncts ASC/DSC or MC/IC
2 - the type of aspects, whether Conjunction, Hard (square, opposition, etc) or Soft (sextile, trine, etc)
3 - Degree of Orb of aspects (how close or far) (I personally use 'degree of orb' no greater than 5 degrees, except for Sun and Moon, which are 6 degrees)
4 - to a much lesser extent, the Sign Pluto is in
4 - to an even lesser extent, the House Pluto is in

Referring to the attached chart, the following indicate, in order of importance, a Dominant Pluto:

- Pluto conjunct Sun and Mercury
- Pluto conjunct I.C. and opposite M.C.
- Pluto square Jupiter and Mars (this creates a 'T' square, as well as the present 'T' square with the Sun/Mars/Jupiter in this chart)
- Pluto sextile Neptune
- Pluto conjunct South Node and opposite North Node
- Pluto semi-square Chiron
(...there are other minor aspects in this chart not shown, such as Pluto conjunct Dark Moon Lilith, but they are not relevant to this post)

So, first determine which planets aspect Pluto, then the strength (closeness of degree of aspect) of those planets, then if Pluto aspects a major angle (M.C., I.C., ASC, DSC) and what aspect it is (conjunction, trine, square, etc.).
Pluto conjuncting, squaring or trining a major angle is stronger than other aspects, and the closer to the major angle, the stronger Pluto's influence.

The Sign Pluto is in is of a relative minor importance. People with Pluto in Scorpio, with little or no aspects to other planets or to major angles, experience the effects of Plutonian energy as 'generational' - in other words, in ways simmilar to all other people born with Pluto/Scorpio - in broad general terms.

In the attached chart, Pluto energies are not experienced directly by others through the ASC because there is no direct connection between Pluto and the ASC, yet, because of the conjunction of Pluto/Mercury and Mercury's almost exact sextile to the ASC, Pluto's energy combines with Mercury's and other people will feel an undertone of the 'probing' quality of Pluto seeking to discover the underlying motives and reasons of other people. Pluto seeks "the core beneath the coverings and masks". Other people may experience an unexplainable uncomfortable feeling of mistrust of the person with such an aspect, in that they may 'feel' that this person is prying deeper into their psyche, actions and words than they care to reveal.

Pluto energies in this chart are experienced by this person more on a basis of 'identity', as the M.C./I.C. indicates one's identity - social (MC) and personal (IC). One's identity is slowly, yet constantly, being transformed over time, ridding the individual of un-necessary qualities and attributes, as well as acquiring new ones or uncovering qualities/attributes hidden deep within the individual's psyche. Pluto is forever digging for the 'core', the 'foundation', in everything it encounters.

There is much more to a Dominant Pluto, or a strong one, than I have stated here, but this is a basic overview.

this is the only Plutonian that I'm aware of
irredeemable-5.jpg

plutoniana

Plutonian people may find that their lives are like Tibetan sand paintings. Somethings constructed with great care distintegrate or disappear and new starts have to be made again and again. Each time a honing.
Also, a Plutonian person might feel him or herself getting younger as they age.
I have Saturn conjunct Pluto in the 12th house in leo square jupiter, mercury and mars in the 3rd in scorpio. venus is also in scorpio. pluto is sextile the sun, uranus trine the sun and neptune conjunct the sun. Often when I read about these aspects they indicate destructive rather than constructive potentialities. One thing I have experienced is that close ties/aspects with outer planets mean that in early life the tail will be wagging the dog, because these energies require a Saturnian maturity to manage. However, in later life, their profound energies can be better understood.

I see a lot of my main struggless through the OP text, it's really good.
Once a friend that knows me really well said to me in a rather... preachy tone haha: " Brokendaniel, you always seem to be in your little bubble of constant and desperate crisis... Crisis surrounds you everywhere you go" which i think sums up pretty well the plutonian energy. My friend was pointing out my dramatic predisposition though, which still applies a lot.
There's always this little voice inside that says "the best way to get out of the shit is through it" Which can promise transmogrification, deeper connections and better vibrations, but also the risk of needless push and overuse of energy in a process that mainly happens by itself. Have to learn that, wish i could say i did, but i still fall into psychological masochism too easily, also watching the crack in your loved ones is quite painful, and there's this urge to push them in a direction that probably won't be well received, but problably with time, don't know.

where is your pluto in your chart? whatever house it falls in will be affected by the same energies you describe. i have pluto in the 1st conjuncting my ascendant - i am to experience my identity and soul life through transformation. and yes i do feel like i am constantly on the verge of crisis - but it is always within my psyche and always an inner ordeal. it's nice to have a friend who can see through that.

what have you learned so far about these constellations? there is a lot going on in the 8th and 9th houses for you. wherever planets reside in the chart is usually where the main drive for the lifetime is. the depth of analysis that pluto gives in the 9th house shows a great researcher or scholar but how it manifests will always be up to you. education or knowledge of any form is highlighted in the 9th house; does not have to be academic. in fact 9th house pluto has the power to transform the structures of education and knowledge. could also detail a desire to go against traditional academia as pluto is all about uprooting and structuring and pluto is never happy with how it is no matter how it is served.

Are you reffering to the sign or house?

Regarding the 9th house i've never did that well in college, although i do have an interest in philosophy that recently started to slip through other subjects, like the occult and stuff like that... People who know me irl say that i'll never settle down in a homely stable life, at least not in the near future, given how restless i am.

As for the sign... Well right now i have transit Saturn conjunct Natal Pluto, i've heard this can be a volatile combination, so far i'm doing pretty well. Had a couple of situations that could have been completely disastrous to my own mental stability, but i managed to get through it, still have a long way to go though. Also power, i've learned big deal about it, and how to posses myself in a situation, there was a HUGE shift there, better awareness of who i am and the effect i can have on others, which strangely is way greater than i used to think.

[h=3]Moon-Pluto Aspects: The Deep Well[/h]
With the Moon conjunct, opposite, square, sextile, or trine Pluto, you are a deep well. The Moon is the planet of emotional responses and needs, so the intense power of Pluto connected to it means that you don’t have a faint heart. Instead, all of the emotional energy of your Moon sign is strengthened and amplified, resulting in a highly emotional nature, even if your Moon sign is in Air or Earth. Now, being so emotionally intense can allow you to live a deeply fulfilled life of boundless inner riches. But, it could also be the source of an almost endless cycle of inner turmoil. For you, Moon-Pluto, the task is learning to deal with the very power of your emotions, as well as their source.

Like the Sun-Pluto individual, childhood can be a time where you learn the very painful lesson that intensity is not always so welcome in our society, leading you to later on to go to obsessive lengths to keep that very strong emotional life under wraps. Having Moon-Pluto means that you probably learned this lesson in the home, where you felt like one or both of your parents just wasn’t equipped to deal with your really powerful needs and feelings. As a child, a sense of your reactions being “wrong” somehow might have been subconsciously planted in your brain, forcing you to stuff them down more and more as the years went on. Because you felt so strongly about everything, your bond with your nurturing figure was very deeply rooted. As powerful of a connection as this might have been, there might have also been a pattern of the nurturing parent using various forms of manipulation to keep you in line or ensure the exact emotional responses that they wanted from you.

The unconscious quality of the Moon can make this aspect a particular blind spot. Unlike Sun-Pluto, conscious awareness of your emotional intensity usually takes a lot of personal growth and introspection to develop. It just seems like there’s this really overwhelming force that governs your life, yet you don’t know where it’s coming from exactly. Moon-Pluto people can suffer from excruciating fears because of this, which is why you might become so controlling and obsessive-compulsive in your habits. There’s a constant anxiety about the rug being pulled from underneath you, in this lower octave. You can also become too accustomed to subtly manipulating others to your advantage or to foster a feeling of emotional safety, repeating the pattern that your nurturing figure set for you.

Becoming aware of and accepting just how emotionally intense you are will result in a total transformation. Moon-Pluto people often feel “crazy” or like “freaks” for feeling as strongly as they do, resulting them in expressing their emotions in a very calm, controlled way that gives no hint to what’s really going on inside. That is, until you eventually explode/implode. All of this intensity gets you very much in touch with the darker spectrum of human emotion. This doesn’t make you psychotic. Knowing what incredibly deep pain, anger, fear, joy, and sadness feels like is what eventually allows you to be the highly evolved person that you have the potential to be.

For Sun-Pluto, the source of Plutonian strength is the sense of self and the vitality. For Moon-Pluto, the source of Plutonian strength is the emotional life. That’s right. Your emotions are your strength. That’s something every Moon-Pluto person should carve in stone somewhere to remember. You have to be really strong and powerful to be able to withstand the really strong and powerful emotions that you do on a regular basis, internally. This is what allows you to withstand them externally, rarely even flinching when faced with an explosion or a meltdown from someone else. This is never “scary” to you. It’s just real. This ability to handle the most intense forms of emotional honesty is a real source of power for you and what can give you a transformative effect on those around you.

People are always very magnetically drawn to Plutonians, but for different reasons. With Moon-Pluto, you draw people to you, far and wide, because of your innate potential for profound compassion and deeply felt understanding. This is when you’re on the higher octave, but even lower octave Moon-Pluto people display this wonderfully refreshing ability to just “get it.” You exude this and become this very powerful nurturing figure who people can’t help but lean on in difficult times. You’re never going to be one to waver, when times get tough, and know how to ride all those up’s and down’s, while holding firmly on to someone else’s hand. There’s a tremendous healing potential with this placement, in the sense of you using that exceptional radar to pick up on someone’s baggage, their emotional issues, and what’s holding them back and teach them how to release it.
This only comes, however, when you can truly release the qualities of your Moon sign, without shame or fear. More than any other Plutonian, you must come to terms with your vulnerability, surrendering to the true emotional needs of your Moon sign, eliminating any childhood insecurities or complexes surrounding them. Be fluid and allow your emotional energy to totally flow, without interference. Don’t worry about if being “too emotional” makes you weak. Remember, your emotions are your strength. In fact, it’s Pluto’s intense connection to the primal Moon that gives you an incredible survival instinct that you don’t even fully understand, at times. You’re formidably resourceful. They might hurt you, betray you, take everything from you, but you will always survive, with the raw intensity and ferocity of a jungle animal. But, accept the fact that you can be wounded also (in fact, very deeply) and need the time to be able to heal from that.

The fact that you’re a deep well is something that people will be able to pick up on, Moon-Pluto, once you’ve reached self-acceptance. You won’t be afraid to show your soul to someone intimately, including the rawest, ugliest, dirtiest parts. If you have any sort of creative talent, you’re likely to go very far. The number of very talented famous actors with Moon-Pluto aspects is very high, as these are people who know how to dig painfully deep inside of themselves and express emotional truths that others wouldn’t dare to contemplate. This is yet another way that your emotional life can make you a very powerful being. You have an incredible access into all the corners of this inner world, even if you don’t share this with everyone else. After all, you know how much people can handle and when. Still, it’s an inner knowledge that never leaves you, aided by the uncanny intuition that you display. The Moon is intuitive and Pluto is scarily perceptive. Blend them together and, well, let’s just say you should always trust your intuition. Just rid yourself of excess paranoia and insecurity and it’ll rarely ever fail you.
People can be unnerved by you, as it seems like that instinctive radar of yours strips them bare and reveals all their secrets to you. Often times, people compulsively spill to you anyway, without you having to do much of anything. Yet, even when you're really intimate with someone, they still won't completely know you. Moon-Pluto is incredibly complex, so you’re always going to be something of a mystery. Still, learn the importance of real trust, as well as not stirring up emotional intensity just for the sake of it. Since the Moon rules intimacy, you can establish very strongly intimate bonds with those who you deem worthy. It’s a connection that can be wordless, but full of immense passion. Having this passion is of the utmost importance to you and, when you’re a high-octave Moon-Pluto, you’ll seek it in healthy ways. This not only means very deep honesty and making other people feel totally alive, but establishing mind-blowingly intense sexual connections with your partner.

Pluto’s about busting taboos and sexuality is, still, one of them to a certain degree in our society. Having a Moon-Pluto aspect means that deeply fulfilling sex is an undeniable need of yours, as the Moon represents our needs. It’s also a need for you to break through all of the negative attitudes surrounding the act of sex that might have been imparted to you – and, more or less, to us all – via your upbringing and/or society. Once you reprogram yourself to fully enjoy sex, it’s something that’s like breathing to you. You have a very instinctive understanding of sex and how to sexually connect to someone in an intimate setting. This is a really raw energy that attracts many, but you must use this magnetism to engage with others and guide them toward a much more sex-positive way of living.

Moon conjunct Pluto: With the conjunction, the principles of the Moon and Pluto are so innately fused that it’s an inherent part of life for you. The most fearlessly introspective of the Moon-Pluto group, you’re capable of confronting every hidden or not-so-pretty emotion, desire, memory, or complex that drives your behavior. It’s not even a conscious thing, though. You just automatically do it. While this means you probably live with a profound level of self-awareness that most wouldn’t even be able to handle without running away scared, remember that there can be such a thing as too much digging. Just settle for coming back up to the surface on a regular basis and simply gazing up at the clouds instead. It doesn’t make you “shallow”. It’ll just keep you balanced.

Moon square or opposite Pluto: The square and the opposition can make your Moon-Pluto energy harder to handle than the other aspects. Projection, in particular, can be an all-out addiction for you, causing you to label everyone else as having the problem or possibly the world as being unfeeling. It might take some effort for you to really stop and look inside of yourself for the true source of the issue. However, you’re often much more skilled at looking inside others and figuring out their damage and just how to heal it. When you can do this for yourself, then this effort at healing others becomes much more powerful and authentic, because you truly know what it feels like. It takes a lot of effort for you to truly change your inner self, but it’s a thorough transformation once you finally do.

Moon sextile or trine Pluto: The sextile and trine allow your Moon-Pluto energy to flow the easiest. Out of the group, you probably have the least trouble with trying to control others’ emotions or even your own. However, that’s not saying that you don’t know how to manipulate, because you certainly do. But, you only exercise this manipulation when you feel like there’s an absolute need to. Unlike the conjunction, square, or opposition, you can be hit hard by tragedy but you’re not too resentful or scarred about it. You simply chalk it up to the impermanence of life and keep moving resourcefully ahead. But, be careful that you’re not too ruthless in your desire to start a new chapter. It can be all too easy for you to leave the “old” behind, even when it’s another person.
