  • I'm well, thank you. It's the beginning of the weekend, which is always a happy time. :) How about you? How's life treating you?
You make a good point, and if I think about it, this is also true of me. The difference I can think of, is that once I let someone in, they really have to do something awful, or let me down consistently over a long period of time for me to shut them out again. The ENFJs I know of don't give so many chances, or simply know the person will let them down before it happens, so don't befriend them in the first place.
The other side to the ENFJ. Well they have strong, moralistic opinions. They are also powerful clairvoyants. They 'know' people before knowing them - perhaps a form of cold reading, but I suspect it's deeper than that. Anyway, people who fall short of their expectations go on a kind of blacklist. The ones they let in, though, are truly loved and nurtured, but if they violate the ENFJ's morals at any time, the blacklist awaits, and it's very hard to get a second chance from them. I'm speaking from experience. I've known two. One was my maternal Grandmother. They are rare, from what I can tell. Powerful people, great leaders, and awesome, in every sense of the word. :)
Don't get me wrong. ENFJs are generally wonderful, and do have a very fluffy, loving side. They tend to pick their friendships carefully, from what I have seen, so if you haven't seen the other side to them, you most likely never will, or at least it won't be directed at you. :)
I haven't met one that I'm aware of. I'd like to though, for sure. :) Don't worry, not everyone here is against INFJ-INFJ couples. I think it would be a wonderful idea, and have heard of at least one pairing that was working perfectly well. ENFJs are very cool. A little scary sometimes, mind you. It's best to stay on their good side. :D
I have a dear friend who went to Australia recently. Sounded like heaven on earth, from what she said, and certainly gave me the inclination to visit someday. Shame you can't make the meeting, but I'm sure there'll be a next time, and feel free to let me know if you're ever in my home city (Birmingham). Will be glad to show you around, and would be cool for me too, to meet another INFJ :)
Hope you had a good day. Is it that you don't like living in Germany specifically, or do you just feel a pull towards being somewhere else?
I can relate to that. It has been a blessing to discover a community of people who make perfect sense to me, after years of feeling isolated in my feelings and starved of depth and understanding in my interactions. I'm in England. Why are you considering leaving Germany?
