    I want it televised.

I disagree completely. If a person is sentenced to the death penalty, I don't think it would have been their decision, had they be given the choice of either a lifetime in prison or the former option. If they are sentenced to be executed, I feel that they should accept their punishment in...

Fort Hood shootings suspect alive; 12 dead

Yes, I heard that he was harassed by the other soldiers because he was a devout Muslim. Regardless, I find the whole ordeal sickening. To harm and kill so many people... I am rather relieved it wasn't a murder suicide, though. It disgusts me so much when a person can take the lives away from...

    The Cube.

( what an interesting quiz! thanks so much for this. :] ) 1) The cube How big is the cube? The cube is small, 2-3 inches for each side. What is its color? What do you think about that color? It is very pale lavender. Copper tinged. I think the color is beautiful and mystical. The cube feels...

    INFJs and fashion

I really like looking at fashion editorials. I think there is something so beautiful in the fashion industry. They express some many different forms of beauty. I'm probably a minority in feeling this. But if you think about it, each magazine ad or cover or clothing commercial, are all so...

Are personality types initially formed by neuroses?

Then disorder was used in the proper context for me. It has impaired my functioning incredibly. 'Social phobia often stems from a fear of not being able to say/do the right thing to fit in with others or not appear stupid.' Yes, that's exactly where it stems from; fear. The fear of rejection...

Are personality types initially formed by neuroses?

I just said this in another thread actually. You expressed my feelings exactly. Introversion, to the extent it's often felt by an INFJ, gives us the ability to observe others thoroughly, because we are less inclined to participate. I've spent my entire life watching others interact, noticing...

How do you handle the pressure to appear confident?

Appearing confident, for me, is impossible because I'm not confident. Instead, I come off as distant and even conceited. People have told me they're intimidated by me because I come off as so aloof and like I don't interact with them because I think I'm somehow superior. Which is a total...

    Honesty

Yes, I'm like that, I can lie if it means sparing another person's feelings. As long as I'm able to rationalize within myself that lying is the best way to handle the situation, I can do it, because then I don't feel guilty.

    Honesty

Lying is near impossible for me. My eyes are so expressive that if the other person is paying enough attention, they'll see the guilt. But, I still feel incredibly guilty afterward, so I usually don't lie unless I feel it's necessary.

Do you "sense" other people's problems?

I answered yes to each one of those questions. I used to wish that I could read peoples' thoughts, but now I know that I don't need to. Introversion, I think, allows a person to observe far more than they participate. By observing, it becomes easier to understand what certain body language...

Who Is Your Perfect, Hypothetical, Composite Partner?

Haha :] thank you. I've had a major crush on him for ages. But he's nearly three time older than me. And married. But this is hypothetical, yea? And a girl can dream. :]
