    The INFJ/4 wing combination

ragnarkisten, e4: the central theme, according to c. naranjo, is: love me because i suffer. this is not a conscient move. why do i suffer? because life has not equipped me with the things which are necessary to have a fullfilled life. others have more of it. furthermore, e4 lives by the...

    Straight INFJ Males

hetero. what would be possible reasons supporting the assumption that infj males would have an above average amount of gay people?

    Everything INFJ-y

i hear you, invisible. this book is probably too dense and too demanding to become widespread.

    Everything INFJ-y

i believe this deep book from lenore thomson belongs also in this sticky thread. it offers, for example, a lot of insight about INFJ, about the distinction of Ni and Ne and Fe and Fi. you wanna go deep? read this book.

    What is intuition?

i believe jung's definition is useful: intuition is unconscious perception (so it's indeed linked to the senses). when extraverted, it's happening in real time, when introverted, it's been taken in before intuition is working on it. i've never understood, why premonition should go with...

You Know You're An INFJ When....

when life feels like walking on water or in weightless space... no ground to carry or nurture you... everything's possible... on what base would i say that something is not possible? endless sea of veiled sensations - very limited mainland.

    INFJ turning into INTJ?

yes! for this sole purpose, i wish i were born in 100 years, when all repetitive jobs are done by machines... so i don't have to care with this side of life anymore and swim in the endless pool of Ni ;-) so yes, i wouldn't know how to mimic Se.

    INFJ turning into INTJ?

i can identify: Fe is about playing roles; so why not imitate Te (mimiking Se is quite difficult!). but it makes me tired. i prefer to withdraw and be alone with my dominant Ni or to share this world with somebody who has a similar one.

    INFJ turning into INTJ?

i appear very much as a INTJ. i believe it's mostly due to my socialization. in school, we are taught, that a valid reason is a logical one and not one related to people. so, most of the time, i had to learn Te to convince on a academical level. which does not mean i function this way...

you are INFJ? this analysis might make you reconsider...

if you are curious, you might wanna read thomsons section (the pdf at the beginning of this thread) about Fe and compare it to your understanding of it...

you are INFJ? this analysis might make you reconsider...

are you sure of either your e-type or your mbti-type? i've haven't met an INFJ combined with an e5 yet. how do you see Fe at work in your personnality, then, if you don't care? (or do you deeply care and don't want to care?) if you're an e5, you wouldn't care so much. but then, how would Fe...

you are INFJ? this analysis might make you reconsider...

please explain how you see the motives at work here... and why Te (as a function) would hate hurting people...

you are INFJ? this analysis might make you reconsider...

i added 1 more thing, and this one is crucial: i'm not asking what you actually do, but what you tend to do, regardless of what you think is best to do (this could be a counter-acting ideal). it's about your inclination (before thinking), not your socialization.

you are INFJ? this analysis might make you reconsider...

this happens frequently for INFJs. tests are only a teaser. so: in private (not in business): when you wanna communicate something you know the person you are talking to will disapprove: do you tend to withhold it or adapt your statement, or do you tend to say what is locigal or factual and...

you are INFJ? this analysis might make you reconsider...

if she had said, "I don't like hurting people" (instead of "i hate..."), this would have been "that's not being an asshole".
